Warranty Policy
1. Overview
Some, but not all, products sold by WSTN Performance come with a 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty.

If a product includes this warranty, it will be clearly stated on the product page, usually under or near the product description.

If there is no mention of a 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty on the product page, then that specific product does not include this additional warranty (your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply).
The 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty (where offered) starts from the date of purchase shown on your proof of purchase.
This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and does not exclude, restrict, or modify those rights.
2. When the 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty Applies
The 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty applies only to:

Products where the warranty is explicitly stated on the product page or in the product description; and

Products purchased directly from WSTN Performance.
If a different warranty period or condition is stated on the product page, that specific wording will apply to that product.
3. What the 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty Covers
For eligible products (where the warranty is stated), during the 1-year period from the date of purchase, WSTN Performance will, at our discretion:

Repair the product; or
-
Replace the product; or
-
Provide a refund if a repair or replacement is not reasonable in the circumstances,
where the product is found to have a genuine manufacturing defect.
A manufacturing defect is a fault arising from the production process, materials, or workmanship, not caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or normal wear and tear.
4. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

Products that do not state a 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty on the product page.

Normal wear and tear.
-
Damage caused by incorrect installation or use not in accordance with product instructions or intended purpose.
-
Damage from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, modification, or unauthorised repairs.
-
Damage caused by racing, track use, competition use, or use outside normal road conditions (where applicable).
-
Cosmetic damage (e.g. scratches, chips, fading, discolouration) that does not affect product function.
-
Products altered or modified from their original condition.
-
Damage resulting from failure to properly maintain the product.
WSTN Performance reserves the right to inspect the product and reasonably determine whether the issue is due to a manufacturing defect or an excluded cause.
5. Warranty Period

For eligible products, the warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase.

The date of purchase is as shown on your invoice, order confirmation, or receipt.
If a product is repaired or replaced under warranty, the original warranty period does not restart. It continues from the original purchase date, unless required otherwise under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. How to Check if Your Product Has This Warranty
You can confirm whether your product includes the 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty by:

Reviewing the product page on our website; and
-
Looking under or near the product description for a clear statement about the warranty.
If there is no warranty statement shown there, the product does not include this additional 1-year manufacturing warranty (but is still covered by Australian Consumer Law).
7. How to Make a Warranty Claim (for Eligible Products)
If your product states a 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty on the product page and you believe it has a manufacturing defect, contact us via:

Product name

A detailed description of the issue
We may also request:

Photos and/or videos clearly showing the defect; and/or
-
The product to be returned to us for inspection, where necessary.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the product to us for assessment, unless otherwise required under the Australian Consumer Law. If the claim is accepted as a genuine manufacturing fault, we may cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.
8. Outcome of a Warranty Claim
If the product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect and is covered by the 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty, WSTN Performance will:

Repair the product; or
-
Replace the product with the same or an equivalent model; or
-
Provide a refund where a repair or replacement is not reasonable or available.
If the product is not found to have a manufacturing defect, or is not an item covered by the 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty, we will notify you and may return the product to you at your cost.
9. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Regardless of whether a product includes the 1 Year Manufacturing Warranty, all goods sold by WSTN Performance come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

A replacement or refund for a major failure, and
-
Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable consumer protection laws.
